The 83rd Annual American Royal Parade 2008 Northland Poop Scooping appreciates the opportunity to participate in this historic Kansas City Landmark event each year. The Kansas City American Royal Parade is the kickoff to the largest livestock show and event in the country featuring The Royal BOTAR Ball, numerous horse shows, rodeos and bull riding, as well as livestock auctions, live concerts and the famous Kansas City Barbecue! The entire event starts in September each year and ends in November. If you have never been to this event there is something for everyone! Check out the website at http://www.americanroyal.com . Paws in the Park 2008 Once again Northland Poop Scooping was honored to participate in this worthy cause. This year the event raised over $30,000.00 dollars for the Friends Of Parkville Animal Shelter. There were 589 registered dogs and an estimated 3000 people in attendance. (Many thanks to all of our customers who stopped by and said HI at our booth!) Congratulations to our customer Rhonda and "Bella" Moon, winning 1st place in the costume contest! (Sorry I wasn't fast enough to get a picture of that!)
No More Homeless Pets Event "Goin Postal for Paws" Bike Run March 29, 2008 Northland Poop Scooping was a participating sponsor of this event, which raises money to spay and neuter pets to reduce the unwanted pet population in Kansas City. The overall goal of this organization is to convert all of the current shelters in the Kansas City area to be "No Kill" Shelters. The 82nd Annual American Royal Parade 2007 Northland Poop Scooping was honored to participate in the Kansas City American Royal Parade. Poopsie & Scoopsie (Our official mascots!) waiting to start the parade with some of our scoopers!
Once the parade got started we all had a great time with the kids!! The last picture is an aerial shot from the news helicopter showing us cleaning the street after one of the horse entries. (The three scoopers in the middle of the street must have had a very large pile!) Gladstone Walk & Wag Event 2007 Northland Poop Scooping helped sponsor this event which benefits the Gladstone Animal Shelter. KC Disc Dogs performed and several door prizes were given away!!
Paws in the Park 2006 Northland Poop Scooping was proud to be a lead sponsor of this event which benefits the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter and was a tremendous success, raising over $18000.00 dollars for the continued care of the animals and raising money to build a new no kill animal shelter for Parkville.
